Today onwards I am trying to add information regarding literature

Beat Writers
A loose knit group of poets and novelists, writing in the second half of the 1950's and early 1960's. They shared a set of social attitudes anti establishment, anti political, anti intellectual, opposed to the prevailing cultural, literary and moral values, and in favour of unfettered self-realization and self-expression. The beat writers often performed in coffee houses and other public places, to the accompaniment of drums or jazz music.

Allen Ginsberg     Howl (1956)
Gregory  Corso
Lawerence Ferlinghetti

Novelists: William Burroughs
                  Jack Kerouac
                  On the  Road(1958)
